Jeanette - Tauranga
Hi, I’m Jeanette – mum to four, Nana to five, and absolutely loving it! When I’m not officiating weddings, you’ll usually find me in the garden (I lead our local sustainable street garden project – it’s a real passion of mine), out walking or cycling, or helping out at our local Social Supermarket. I welcome and celebrate love in all its forms – whether it’s a first time, second time, same-sex marriage, a relaxed elopement or a no-fuss, no-frills kind of day.

Kirt - Tauranga / Katikati / Papamoa
Hi I’m Kirt. With a background in radio and media, and now thriving in real estate, I bring decades of confident communication to my role as a Celebrant. I’ve always loved a good love story—whether it’s shared over the airwaves, in a property journey, or at the heart of a ceremony. With our kids grown and flown, my husband and I now enjoy the serenity of our lifestyle block in the lower Kaimais, surrounded by dogs, nature, and the kind of quiet joy that makes life worth celebrating.

Katie - Papamoa, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga central
Hi I’m Katie, I’ve lived in six different cities but am at home by the sea. Proximity to the beach is a must have!I love swimming (weirdly not in the ocean) and spend hours every week doing laps while writing ceremonies in my head. My favourite movie Of. All. Time is Top Gun Maverick. Cannot get enough. My superpower is giving amazing presents perfectly suited to the recipient. My hubby calls me, “The Giver of Magnificent Giftaroonies”. Can’t wait to celebrate YOUR day and make magnificent wedding memories together.

Debbie - Tauranga, Mt Maunganui, Papamoa
Hi I’m Debbie, I’m a fun-loving person living in Tauranga. As well as being a marriage and funeral celebrant, I teach courses for the Celebrant Training College. I have taught in primary schools around the world and still love to travel. When I'm not working I love to bake and craft with grandchildren, then have a delicious G&T when they've gone home!

Jo - Tauranga
Hi, I’m Jo, wife, proud mum of two teenage boys, and a full-time celebrant who finds joy in celebrating life and love in all its beautiful forms. When I’m not helping couples say “I do,” you’ll find me in the garden tending to my veggies, curled up with a good book, or keeping busy on our lifestyle property. I’m a devoted coffee drinker, a lover of fine chocolate, and I never pass up the chance for a little travel and adventure. I’m also an unashamed fan of period dramas — Downton Abbey is my happy place!

Johnelle - Rotorua & Mamaku
I'm Johnelle, I became a celebrant because I thought the industry needed some young blood. I'm enthusiastic, energetic, and alow you to be completely yourself. Your wedding is part of your REAL LIFE! It's not a show where you or anyone else needs to perform. Choose me for a ceremony to remember for all the right reasons.

Barb - Rotorua
Hi, I'm Barb - A lifelong learner with a curious mind, I find joy in the quiet companionship of books and the strategic thrill of playing bridge (the social aspect of bridge is pretty good too). My garden is my nemesis—it tests my patience with every stubborn weed - I have accepted I’ll never have a beautiful garden because I’d rather read a book, watch a movie, or just sit and chat. I enjoy hobbies such as knitting and cooking, but I most love the time I get to spend with family and friends - they enrich my life with creativity and connection.
-

Carol - Rotorua
Kia ora, my name is Carol and I'm a relaxed, fun and engaging Nana who loves spending time with her mokopuna, reading when time allows, photography with her iPhone and cooking and baking. I whakapapa to Ngāti Rangiwewehi, Ngāti Kearoa Ngāti Tuarā and Ngāti Huri ki Waikato. In addition to being a Wedding Celebrant, I'm a Justice of the Peace and a Front of House Manager at Sir Howard Morrison Centre here in Rotorua.

Amanda - Rotorua
Hello, I am Amanda. Mum of two boys who are growing up faster than I thought possible. I was a vet nurse and puppy trainer in a previous life. I am an active community member who believes in old fashioned values of helping one another out. In my 40's I have the not so common accessory of a walking stick as I have compromised balance so walking far distances isn't an option unfortunately. I do my best to channel Selma Blairs confidence and have been told I am not doing so bad at it.
